Babiators Eyewear

Longtime friends Molly and Ted Fienning and Carolyn and Matthew Guard met in college over 10 years ago. After graduation, they vacationed together and dreamed about starting their own businesses. Carolyn, Matthew and Molly joined the corporate world, and Ted became a Marine Corps fighter pilot. The idea for Babiators was born on a military base in Beaufort, SC, when Molly saw her fellow military wives' kids squinting in the sun while their pilot Moms and Dads stood protected and stylish in their aviator sunglasses. Molly shared her idea for safe, stylish, and durable kids' sunglasses with her aviator husband Ted, who said, "Let's make them, and call them Babiators!"

Matthew and Carolyn Guard had been on the lookout for a great business to fly with. They loved the idea of creating high-quality, affordable, safe, durable and stylish products that let kids be kids and be protected. Carolyn recognized the strong potential of the business and took off with the idea at mach speed.

The company launched in 2011 with Carolyn and Molly working from their kitchen tables. Today, the Babiators "Crew" is growing fast and quickly becoming a leading children's retail brand. Forbes Magazine recently named Babiators one of America's 100 Most Promising Companies of 2014! From their world headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, their safe, stylish and awesome products fly off to more than 45 countries, giving kids around the world the freedom and protection to tackle whatever adventures come their way.

Parents’ biggest complaint about kids’ sunglasses is that they break too easily, which is why Babiators are the most durable sunglasses out there. Babiators frames are made of flexible rubber (instead of plastic), which children can bend without breaking. Babiators also feature durable impact- and shatter-resistant lenses.

Spring Dresses

Great spring style is as easy as slipping on a floral dress.

V Neck

This is a really great dress. I got a Large, and it's a bit big in the bust area, but I think a Medium would be too small. Even with the size being a bit off for me, I still plan to buy the other two colors. The PattyBoutik Customer Service is exceptional! They respond to emails and are super helpful and friendly. The dress arrives neatly packaged - shows the company cares. I will definitely shop the PattyBoutik store again, beyond these dresses. PS - at least one review says the dress is too long. I'm 5'4" and it hits just below my knees. I like the length, but even if I wanted it shorter, the price makes it right to just pay extra money to a tailor to shorten it. (By: suki)

Blue Banana
Elegant Slinky Wrap Dress

Beautiful fit, high quality fabric, hangs great and hides flaws. The fabric isn't clingy (despite how it may look on the model) at all its very slinky and hangs really well. The belt is long allowing for different looks. You can wrap it around twice and tie in the front, back or either side or wrapp it around as many times as you can and add a belt over it. Get this dress and you'll be in love, I am. I have red hair, fair skin and blue eyes and man have i gotten compliments when I wear my new dress, i got the tourquise one! if your fair skinned get it right away!! Love love this dress. Smart Vision

Tom Ford Campbell When Tom Ford finally took the plunge and started his own brand, He began with his sunglasses collection.

I have a pair of new wayfarers which I love, and decided I wanted some aviators. I chose gunmetal grey, g-15 XLT, nice understated color, and not mirror lenses. But beyond being absolutely sure which color I wanted, I ended up being the Goldilocks of sunglasses.

First I got the small 52mm aviators, which ended up being WAY too small for me. I learned the hard way that the mm sizes is not specifically the distance across your face, it's the size of each lens. I have the 52mm in the new wayfarers which fit perfectly, so don't let that lead you to a size in aviators, because the size doesn't translate. So then I got the 55mm in the aviators and they were a tad snug on the side of my face. Then I ordered the 58mm. These seem to be the best choice for me and I realllly love them. They're lightweight and comfortable.

In the end, I learned the mm size will have a little to do with the distance across the face, being the lens get bigger, but it just wasn't as cut and dry as I thought. It's really best to try these on in person before ordering to know which size fits you best. Good luck!

Before buying these sunglasses on Amazon, I had checked them out at a local Sunglass Hut and Solstice. They were priced at $320 at those stores. I was shocked seeing them for about half the cost on Amazon. I was a tiny bit worried about their authenticity when I bought them, but they came and were exactly what I saw at the stores. "Made in Italy" and polarized, just as I saw them. They came with a nice Prada case to store them as well as a microfiber cloth. Great buy, exactly what I wanted for almost 50% cheaper.

If your considering buying the Wayfarer by Ray-Ban, you already know it as a cultural staple, worn by everyone from Dylan to The Blues Brothers. But, as cool as the shades are, be careful when it comes to fit. The "New" Wayfarer is substantially smaller then the old style, as well as being a tad more modern, not dominating the face as the old kind do.

The "New" style also comes in two sizes, 52mm and 55mm. I received the 52 only to find them to be a bit too small (I am an average size male), once I returned them for the 55 I was more then satisfied. So in conclusion I would recommend the new style Wayfarer to those wanting the signature look of the style, but with perhaps a bit less obtrusive frame. 55mm is average size, while 52mm would be for females or even some children.

Top 5 new and popular Ray-Ban sunglasses

Top 5 New and Popular

I found the new and popular Ray-Ban sunglasses from

1. Ray-Ban RB2132 New Wayfarer Sunglasses

Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses have been manufactured by Ray-Ban since 1956, when their design was a revolutionary break from the metal eyewear of the past. Wayfarers enjoyed early popularity in the 1950s and 1960s. Though the sunglasses had faded from the limelight by the 1970s, a lucrative 1982 product placement deal brought Wayfarers to their height of popularity. Since the mid-2000s, the sunglasses have been enjoying a revival.

2. Ray-Ban RB3025 Aviator Sunglasses
Aviator sunglasses are a style of sunglasses that were developed by Bausch & Lomb and branded as Ray-Ban. They are characterised by dark, often reflective lenses having an area two or three times the area of the eyeball, and very thin metal frames with double or triple bridge and bayonet earpieces or flexible cable temples that hook behind the ears. The original design featured G-15 tempered glass lenses, i.e., neutral gray, transmitting 20% of incoming light. The large lenses are not flat but slightly convex. The design attempts to cover the entire range of the human eye and prevent as much light as possible from entering the eye from any angle.

3. Ray-Ban RB3016 Classic Clubmaster Sunglasses
The Clubmaster from Ray-Ban has been introduced and re-introduced over the decades and yet still holds the same level of iconic value, if not more. Inspired by multiple styles, this look is simple yet strong, and refined yet relaxed.
Protect your eyes with these stylish RB3016 sunglasses by Ray Ban. These sunglasses are made of plastic, are 100% brand new and include the manufacturer's one-year warranty. Pick a frame and lens color combination that complements your wardrobe or go with a classic color choice - either way you'll look and feel great with these Ray Ban sunglasses.

4. Ray-Ban RB3025 Aviator Sunglasses

Clean and sophisticated, these modern aviators have an unmistakable style that never goes out of date. The Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses are a classic design that fits well, provides excellent protection and great visibility. The metal frames look great and are durable while the green glass lenses are scratch resistant, improve contrasts and block 100%: of UV (ABC) rays. An icon of style and design and a model that signaled the birth of a timeless legend, Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses have been all of these things since their launch in 1937. Created to satisfy the increasingly demanding requirements of US Air Force pilots, the Aviator style of Ray-Ban Sunglasses gradually earned its place as an essential fashion accessory for both sexes. Aviator Ray-Ban sunglasses live up to their name by offering maximum wearer protection while delivering the distinctive style that has become world-famous, thanks to the many Hollywood stars who have chosen to wear them. The contemporary relevance of the Aviator Large Metal model is underlined by the drop-shaped eye. Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses are designed with a lightweight and durable metal frame. The scratch/impact resistant lenses ensure 100%: UV protection & superb optical clarity. Ray-Ban sunglasses are one of the best-selling brands worldwide..

5. Ray-Ban RB2140 Original Wayfarer Sunglasses

Wayfarers signify what the look of rock and roll is all about. Classically framed and completely iconic, this pair of sunglasses from Ray-Ban is lightweight, durable, and ready to exude some serious attitude.
Ray-Ban brings a modern twist to a classic style with fresh colors and lens tints. The Original Wayfarer offers options for everyone - whether you're a sneaker-collecting hipster, or you've just been wearing these for 20+ years. Ray-Ban's legendary reputation for optical quality was built on these shades - there's a reason the Wayfarer is one of the most-copied sunglass designs of all time.
